A student recruitment officer, Cara Dolmor, from the University of Essex is coming into CIC.

This will be on Thursday 8th March at 2pm.

She will be giving a talk on applying to the university and what admissions staff look for in the application and personal statement. It will be helpful in choosing a university and course.

Would students please sign up for the lecture by putting their names on the sign-up sheet on the notice board in reception!

City University Lecture date: Wednesday 21st March at 3pm

A member of the School of Mathematics and Engineering will be coming into CIC to give a talk on life at City University. They will also provide a short taster lesson on studying mathematics at City.

The lecture is scheduled for 3pm on Wednesday 21st of March.

University of Bath Lecture date: Thursday 15th March at 2pm

An economics lecturer, Dr Cathy Winnett, from The University of Bath is coming into CIC.

This will be on Thursday 15th of March at 2pm. She will discuss studying economics at Bath, the admissions process, and student life at the University.

Matei Morariu has been offered places at FIVE separate Conservatoires. Well done!

Matei has been offered a place at five separate conservatoires. In addition, two of these have offered him scholarships!

Places at the conservatoires are fiercely competitive. To have all of his applications accepted is a huge achievement in itself.

We look forward to hearing Matei playing on the big stage in the future…

Yiyi and Jasmine both completed their A Levels at CIC in June 2011.

Yiyi has been awarded a Maths prize by the Council of International Schools whilst Jasmine has won the Chelsea Independent College Academic Prize for 2011.

They will be collecting their prizes at the Council of Independent Education Awards Ceremony held at the House of Lords on the 19th March!
