Extra Curricular
Although academic study remains the focus of all of our students, we recognize the importance of a broad educational experience with us. To cater for the interests of a diverse student body the college offers a wide range of activities both within the college timetable and outside.
The main focus of our social programme is the student council. Members of the college are elected to the student council at the beginning of each academic year. The council represents a focal point for the voice of the student body to be heard, and meets regularly with the senior management team and Principal to give feedback on behalf of all students. The council is also responsible for the organisation of the two main social events at the college, the Christmas and Summer balls. Other opportunities to be involved in the wider life of the college include the Young Enterprise Scheme, various clubs including debating and chess and various programmes to involve students in the wider community.
Trips both within London and abroad also provide an important opportunity for students to learn and make friendships. We regularly visit the many museums and galleries in London such as the Tate, Tate Modern, The British Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum and many others. Outside of London recent college trips have seen students visit Paris, Madrid and Barcelona. We are always keen to listen to ideas from students as to the development of this important aspect of college life.
Sports at the college focus around Football, Basketball, Swimming and Tennis. We make use of many nearby facilities to enhance the development of each sport and play regular football matches with other local colleges.
